Biking
Bring your own mountain bike! Suttle Lake's 3 1/2-mile perimeter is perfect for an easy after-lunch bike ride. The beautiful forest surrounding our location offers limitless trails to ride. These trails offer any level of expertise desired.

Boating Activities
Waterskiing, wakeboarding and kayaking, are just a few of the ways you can enjoy Suttle Lake. Our marina offers a variety of boats such as canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats and they are available for guests to reserve. Our guests may also moor their own boats in our marina for a $25 nightly fee. If you enjoy white water rafting, you should not miss a rafting trip adventure on the nearby Metolius River.

Fishing
Suttle Lake has brown trout and Kokanee salmon for your fishing pleasure. While they are biting throughout our warm-weather months, they bite most in our cool spring weather. You can also enjoy fly-fishing in one of the many cold mountain water rivers in our area, like the Metolius River. Spring-fed, the river is home to rainbow trout, bull trout and Kokanee salmon.

Golfing
We are pleased to have several beautifully maintained world-class golf courses in our vicinity. The closest is only four miles from The Lodge.

Hiking
The hike around our lake is a leisurely one, filled with gorgeous views. In an early morning walk, you might catch a glimpse of our lake otters enjoying the cool misty lake waters. The forests and alpine valleys here offer a variety of trails, from an easy morning's walk to a more invigorating and serious course for the diehards. Even if you are serious, we hope you don't forget to take in our breathtaking views. While they are spectacular year-around, they are particularly wonderful and colorful in autumn.

Horseback Riding
For those who prefer to take in those breathtaking views in a less strenuous manner, horseback riding is available in our vicinity. For those who would like a more exotic outing, llamas are also available for your riding pleasure.

General Activities
Our scenic valley and pristine lake are perfect for any leisurely activity you may want to enjoy. Our beautiful forest surrounding the lake invites you to picnic. Bring a blanket and a good book! Or, visit one of the lake's beaches, and spend a warm afternoon swimming in the lake's cool mountain water. A quiet morning kayak outing should also not be missed. You may very well spot one of our lake's bald eagles fishing in the lake's morning mist.
